SUMMARY position DESCRIPTION:

The Director Growth Management Office is responsible as the intermediary between the Project Management Team and Business Team.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:

The main role of this GMO is to successfully drive the implementation of the company's growth plan in which, it will be reporting to the SVP & Chief Strategy Officer under the Global Strategy.
This position will provide stewardship to key initiatives & capabilities (enablers) that are critical to the success of Emery's growth plans.
This includes all growth projects implementation and horizontal capabilities such as Strategic Distribution Management and Growth Project Management.
The GMO will consist (not limited to) of a member each from the relevant functions namely Major projects, Business Units & Project Management to effectively oversee all Growth Projects and ensure timely delivery within approved budgets.
The GMO will also ensure that parallel activities such as pre-marketing & marketing plans, manpower plan & development and other support activities for growth projects are on track.
FYI, as a unit, the GMO will function as secretariat for the existing Growth Project Steering Committee & Distribution Steering Committee chaired by GCEO.
Exposure in driving business & corporate strategy of a company is a must.
Strong understanding on high value project management & coordination is also required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Ideally, someone who has wide experiences & exposures in sales & marketing within Specialty Chemicals industry particularly in the performance chemicals, personal care, coating, oil & gas, textile, leather & rubber etc.
