Interface with all departments to identify and rectify equipment issues with regard to safety, productivity, quality and reliability.
:li/:
Define and Publish Safe Systems of Work and SOPs for Production Equipment.
:li/:
Ensure Production Equipment meets Statutory and Seagate EHS SOP Requirements.
:li/:
Troubleshoot Equipment Problems to Resolution and Implement Corrective Action.
:li/:
Program PLC and PC Controlled Production Equipment.
:li/:
Ensure that all RFID data systems operate to site requirements for data management
:li/:
Design of equipment upgrades.
:li/:
Manage / implement equipment upgrade and capital projects.
:li/:
Provide
engineering support to equipment maintenance, process engineering, and process development.
:li/:
Improve production costs/techniques by implementing solutions into areas where a problem has been identified.
:li/:
Working as part of a team where skills are pooled to obtain the most feasible cost effective solution to problems that arise within a rapidly changing manufacturing environment.
:li/:
Use of software packages to implement engineering concepts and designs.
:li/:
Liaising with contractors/vendors to ensure all work is carried out correctly and to a high standard within agreed time frames.

Identify methods for automated data gathering / analysis.
Qualifications
:li/:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical and Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electromechanical, control/automation) or equivalent.
:li/:
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
:li/:
Preferable to have PLC programming experience.
:li/:
Project management (new equipment installation. facility set:up) experience would be beneficial.
:li/:
Robotics troubleshooting / programming and equipment installation background.
:li/:
AutoCad and/or Solidworks experience desirable.
