POSITION DESCRIPTION
The development of the human capital strategies and plans to maximize both organizational and individual effectiveness;
The development and delivery of integrated human capital programmes, policies and services linked to the business plans and objectives of the Corporation;
Promoting the use of exemplary human capital management practices to ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees;
The provision of advice and guidance in the resolution of employee relations issues.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement a tailored integrated human capital strategic plan that supports the Corporation’s vision, mission and objectives.
Guide and advise corporate leadership on all human capital issues so that employees recognise the company to be a fair and responsible employer.
Develop and implement a comprehensive total rewards programme including all supporting infrastructure and processes in order to motivate, attract and retain the necessary talent.
Develop and monitor the necessary controls to ensure effective human capital service delivery systems that meet policy standards and legislative requirements.
Analyse, benchmark and recommend human capital solutions for the Human Capital and Remuneration Committee on key initiatives.
Develop and implement corporate learning and development programmes that enhance career development, workforce competencies; and measure the effectiveness of development strategy and efforts.
Lead and direct the team in the development and implementation of the Human Resource Management System “HRMS”. To analyse and provide feedback and suggestions on the HRMS performance as and when required.
Represent HR in the Health and Safety Committee meeting as and when required.
Promote healthy and balanced work life, and organisation climate by monitoring and analysing employee satisfaction, and applying practical solutions to effectively meet the objectives of having a transparent, multicultural and engaged workforce.
Prepare Human Capital related papers to be presented to Board and/or Remuneration Committee as and when required.
Sit in various internal committees.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Degree from a recognised university
At least 10 years of senior management HR experience
Excellent in influencing, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong in developing policies, SOPs and change management
Strategic-minded and thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Have strong leadership qualities – able to direct, manage and drive performance
Able to motivate and drive staff performance, have a sense of urgency and accountability,
